Large Farm Garden
Family garden on a large farm in Northamptonshire.
The farm kitchen window was replaced with french doors which lead out into the main garden. The owners wanting a terrace, somewhere to eat and relax. The rest of the garden needed work, it had no structure and many of the shrubs were getting old. Wanted wheelchair accessible space for a relative when they visited.
Large Leylandii hedge was lowered and shaped around the entrance into the garden.
Open canvas - they really wanted a fresh start - we kept two mature walnut trees, a laburnum, some box hedging and a garden shed. They wanted to keep the leylandii hedge as it acted as a wind break.
We provided a large lawn, a wild flower area, woodland area and accessible terrace outside the kitchen.
